Meet The Team
Greenway was formed in 2005 to be a unique supplier of all aspects of integrated waste management and environmental services. Here is just a few of our excellent team that makes Greenway what it is today.

Michael Grime
Michael is the Managing Director of GRG, the parent of GRG Waste UK. He is responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and development of the group.
Michael has an expertise in business development, having led all organic and acquisitional growth of GRG since its inception. Day-to-day he focuses on hiring the best people, procuring and developing quality assets, promoting a safe working environment, and building the business for the future as well as today.
Michael graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, with an BA and MA in Geography.
In his down time Michael enjoys being with his family, reading non-fiction, boating, golf and talking sport.

David Collis
Dave is the Group Director of Greenway’s parent company, GRG Waste UK. He is responsible for the UK strategy, performance, and development.
Dave has worked in the waste industry for 27 years and started Greenway in 2005. Dave’s background and expertise are in business development, building the original Greenway business from inception to the sale of the company to the GRG group.
In his down time, Dave is a keen Stoke City supporter, and enjoys travel, golf, Roman and Medieval history, Renaissance art and watching Nordic-crime boxsets.

Simon Cobbold
Simon is the National Sales Manager for Greenway. He is responsible for growing the companies customer base across the UK to be serviced effectively by either our Bootle or Hinckley facilities.
Simon recently joined Greenway at the end of October 2020 however he has worked in the Waste Industry for 24 years. In this time he has sold all forms of Waste Services, including both Dry and Liquid Wastes and Hazardous and Non Hazardous Materials.
Simon’s Hobbies include Membership of the Local Golf Club and a lifelong support of Leeds Rhinos Rugby League and Leeds United. Walking in the Lakes is a regular pass time for himself and his wife and he goes out running regularly to try and keep fit.

Jeff Roberts
Jeff is our Technical Manager at Greenway Environmental. His responsibilities include the preparation and issuing of quotations and offering Technical advice to the Sales Team where required.
Jeff studied Chemistry at Staffordshire Polytechnic (as was) and qualified as a Chartered Chemist and Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He spent 16 years at a lubricant manufacturing company, starting in the laboratory as a technician and eventually becoming laboratory manager.
After leaving in 1992, Jeff joined the waste industry and worked for several companies before joining Greenway in 2008.
Jeff’s hobbies involve spending time in the garden and walking his English Pointers, which his wife shows and has qualified and exhibited at Crufts over the last few years.

Joshua Fagan

Gareth Jones
Gareth is the Commercial Manager for one of our biggest customers. His day-to-day role involves booking in jobs, sending out quotes and invoicing.
Gareth has been with Greenway since January 2015 when he joined to help out with IT, social media and marketing, before working his way up to Key Account Manager. He is known in the office for fixing everyone’s computer when something goes wrong.
Outside of work, Gareth has recently moved down South to his partner, and enjoys hitting the gym, and going to the pub.

Adrian Glover
Adrian is a Commercial Manager for Greenway, covering the South of England.
Aide has worked in the waste management industry for over 25 years, starting out in non-hazardous waste and recycling then branched out into secure destruction, water treatment, anaerobic digestion. He has spent the last 17 years working in the hazardous waste sector.

Darren Rogers
Darren joined Greenway in 2026 as a Business Development Manager for the South.
He brings over 30 years Business Development and Key Account Management experience, with the last 8 years focused on Hazardous Waste and Industrial Services. With a particular passion for solving complex waste issues for waste producers, offering a consultative and partnership approach from start to finish.
With 7 grandchildren there is little spare time, but Daz enjoys Vintage Vespa’s, Live Music and a lifelong support of the Mighty ‘Ammers.

Jeremy Williams
Jeremy joined Greenway in 2026 as a Business Development Manager covering the Midlands area.
With over 20 years of experience in hazardous waste sales, Jeremy has expertise from a wide range of environments from multinational hazardous waste service providers, right through to his own waste brokerage business.
In his spare time, Jeremy is a mad keen Wolverhampton Wanderers fan.

Nick Jellyman

Francine Collis
Fran is the Group Marketing Manager for GRG, the parent of Novum. She is responsible for promoting the group through PR and all forms of digital and printed communications.
Day-to-day, Fran designs and creates imagery and videos for social media, and other advertising content such as brochures and leaflets, as well as organising and sponsoring events, and booking expos for the group to promote itself further.
Fran graduated from Keele University with a First-Class BA Hons in Marketing and Media, Communications and Culture. While studying at University, Fran worked as a part-time administrative assistant for Greenway.
In her down time, Fran enjoys hiking in the Peak District with her partner and her dogs, Bear and Jasper.

Joanna Denton
Joanna is a Technical Assessor at Greenway. Her role requires assessing and characterising incoming waste streams and routing accordingly to the systems and procedures at Greenway sites. She works closely with the operations teams to ensure client service is maintained with respect to assessment and receipt of wastes.
Joanna moved to the UK from Poland in 2007 after finishing her Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry. Joanna has worked as a Science Technician in a school and in various other waste companies before being approached to join the Greenway team in 2019.
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys crafts, walking her dog and running, and is planning on doing her third half marathon in the coming year.

Cara Spratt
Cara has been with Greenway since January 2021 and started working in the Total Waste Management Division as TWM Administrator. After building relationships with customers, Cara grew in her role within TWM and is now an Internal Account Manager for our key accounts, and enjoys all aspects of her role.
In her spare time, Cara has two adult children and is loving the extra free time with her husband, and enjoys going for walks, socialising with friends, going to the gym and going away on holiday: "My best holiday’s so far have been Tobago which is beautiful and also traveling from London to Venice on the orient express."
